European countries will have no chance against the Russian army if it wins in Ukraine. This statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a conversation with Polish journalists on Wednesday, January 15, as reported by UNN.
Details
He emphasized that European nations should act pragmatically and triple their weapons production to assist Ukraine, as well as strengthen their own militaries to stay ahead of Russia.
Zelensky pointed out that there is currently a threat from Russia to Poland, Romania, the Baltic states, and Scandinavian countries.
The President expressed hope that the new U.S. President Donald Trump would put pressure on Putin to end the war this year and provide Ukraine with real security guarantees.
Reminder
President Zelensky reported that 33-34% of the weapons in Ukraine are domestically produced, about 40% are from the USA, and less than 30% are from Europe. He also expressed gratitude to Biden and highlighted the importance of the alliance between the USA and Europe.
