In Kharkiv, there are two individuals injured due to an enemy drone attack that occurred last night, January 28, resulting in a large fire at industrial facilities. Among the injured is a child.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing the State Emergency Service (SES).
The emergency services provided details about the Russian airstrike and shared videos and photos of the aftermath.
"Last night, the enemy launched a UAV strike on the territory of a civilian enterprise in the Novobavar district of the city. As a result of the shelling, a large fire broke out, covering an area of 1500 square meters. The industrial premises were on fire," the SES statement read.
Firefighters also informed that by 02:36, the fire had already been localized, and efforts to "eliminate it are ongoing."
"Over 80 rescuers and 20 units of SES equipment have been deployed to address the aftermath," the emergency services reported.
Additionally, the SES indicated that preliminary data shows that 2 individuals were injured in the enemy drone attack, experiencing acute stress reactions.
This includes a woman born in 1955 and a child born in 2015, the rescuers clarified.

According to Mayor Ihor Terekhov, there was a "hit" in Kharkiv, leading to a fire. He later specified that the enemy strike targeted the territory of a civilian enterprise in the Novobavar district.
As stated by Bogdan Hladkykh, the director of the Kharkiv city emergency situations department, there was information regarding two injured individuals who are experiencing acute stress reactions.
