The Russian army attacked Ukrainian territory with drones on the night of Tuesday, February 18. Damage has been recorded in the Cherkasy region.
According to RBK-Ukraine, this was reported by the head of the Cherkasy OGA, Igor Taburets, via Telegram.
He noted that the nighttime alert in the region lasted for nearly six hours, during which air defense forces shot down 26 Russian drones within the area.
Preliminary reports indicate that there were no injuries.
"However, the downed 'Shahed' caused damage in the Cherkasy district. Initial reports suggest that debris damaged four houses and a garage. Windows were shattered, and in some places, roofs were mutilated. A vehicle was also affected," Taburets wrote.

Due to the drone threat, an alarm was raised in Kyiv, and later it became known about air defense operations in Kyiv, particularly in the northern part of the city. Authorities later clarified that debris from an enemy UAV was recorded falling in the Svyatoshyn district of Kyiv. Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported a fire at an industrial facility, as well as vehicles ablaze in the yard of a nearby residential building.
According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, there were no casualties in Kyiv, as the debris fell in a non-residential area, and a fire was recorded in a storage facility.
Additionally, during the night, a Russian drone struck a high-rise building in the city of Dolynska in the Kirovohrad region. As a result of the strike, three people were injured, including children.
