Russia leverages its manpower advantage: the General Staff has revealed maps of the battles along the front line.

As of the morning of January 28, the situation at the front remains challenging. The enemy, leveraging its advantage in personnel and equipment, is continuously attacking the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, 159 combat clashes were recorded over the past day.

Updated information indicates that yesterday the enemy carried out 28 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 60 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, there were over five thousand shelling incidents, including 87 from multiple launch rocket systems, and 2411 kamikaze drones were deployed for attacks.

The aggressor conducted airstrikes, particularly in the areas of the following settlements:

• Belaya Berizka, Zarutskoe in the Sumy region;
• Zaporizhske in the Dnipropetrovsk region;
• Stepnogorsk in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Situation at the Fronts

In the Kharkiv direction, there were five attempts to breach the defensive lines of our defenders near Volchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, there were six attacks by the invaders yesterday. Our defenders repelled the enemy's assault actions near Peschane, Kutyovka, Petropavlivka, and Lozova.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched ten attacks, attempting to penetrate our defenses near the settlements of Novoegorivka, Kopanky, Makeevka, Terny, Zelenaya Dolina, Yampolivka, Zarechne, and Kolodiyazi.

In the Severodonetsk direction, our troops successfully repelled one enemy attack in the area of Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked seven times in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Stupochki, Predtechyno, and Belyi Gory.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy made 13 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Krymske, Diliivka, and Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders halted 85 assault actions by the aggressor towards the settlements of Vodyane Druhe, Zeleno Pole, Yelizavetivka, Myrolyubivka, Sukhy Yar, Zelenyi, Kotlyino, Udachne, Nadezhdinka, Kotlyarivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Bohdanivka, Baranivka, Luch, Pokrovsk, Novoandriivka, Shevchenko, Dachne, Ulakly, and Yantarne.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy carried out eight attacks yesterday in the areas of the settlements of Novosilka, Konstantinopol, Razdolne, and Bolshaya Novosilka.

In the Orikhiv direction, occupation forces twice stormed the positions of the Defense Forces in the area of Novodanilivka and towards Orikhiv.

The Defense Forces are making efforts to prevent the enemy from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory, successfully repelling three enemy offensive actions in the Dnipro direction.

In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy did not carry out any active operations over the past day.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue operations in the Kursk region. Over the past day, the enemy carried out 24 airstrikes, dropping 30 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 302 shelling incidents, including three from MLRS. Ukrainian defenders repelled 13 assault actions by the invaders.

Russian Losses

In the past day, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck two areas of enemy personnel concentration and two enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.

Ukrainian warriors are inflicting significant losses on the occupation forces in terms of personnel and equipment and actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.

In total, over the past day, the losses of Russian invaders amounted to 1380 personnel. Ukrainian warriors also neutralized 5 tanks, 12 armored personnel carriers, 27 artillery systems, 72 operational-tactical level UAVs, 86 vehicles, and 2 units of special equipment belonging to the occupiers.
