On the night of Monday, January 20, the Russian army launched 141 drones of various types at Ukraine. The drones approached from five different directions.

During the night of January 20, 2025, starting from 7:00 PM on January 19, the enemy attacked with 141 strike drones of the Shahed type and various types of imitation drones from five locations: Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
Additionally, the Russians used an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Kursk region targeting the Sumy region.
The aerial assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 8:00 AM, the downing of 93 Shahed-type strike drones and other types of enemy drones has been confirmed in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Donetsk regions.
Another 47 enemy imitation drones were locally lost (without negative consequences), two of which returned to Russia.
According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, last week, during Russian attacks, the Air Forces destroyed more than 30 missiles and 300 drones of Russian terrorists.
Earlier, we reported that on January 18, the occupiers launched ballistic missiles at Kyiv. As a result of the missile strike, three people died in Lukyanivka, Kyiv. Additionally, Russian troops carried out a missile strike on Zaporizhzhia.
