On October 28, Adnan Kivan passed away - the founder of KADORR Group and the largest Arab investor in Ukraine.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing KADORR Group's press service.
Kivan was known for his successful business projects, social initiatives, as well as charity and patronage.
"With prayers on our lips, we bid him farewell, for he did not divide people but united them and believed that everything is in God's hands. His family was a reliable support, a steadfast backing, and the highest value for Adnan Kivan," the company's message stated.
Adnan Kivan was born on December 1, 1962, in Syria. After finishing high school, he moved to Odessa, where he studied at the Academy of Food Technologies.
In 2005, Kivan founded the company "Diana-Plus," which focused on developing construction projects. By 2006, he established "Interinvestbud," a business specializing in construction, and in 2010, he founded KADORR Group, a company that built over 40 residential complexes, primarily in Odessa.
In 2017, he founded "Kador Grain of Ukraine," which engaged in wholesale grain trading, seeds, and unprocessed tobacco, as well as the cultivation of grain and technical crops.
In 2021, Kivan was included in Forbes' list of the 100 richest Ukrainians, ranking 42nd with a net worth of 240 million dollars.
