Following the mass departure of officials and deputies to pray with Trump, their return to Ukraine sparked another wave of pre-election advertising hysteria about how our leaders and deputies generously support the army and the people. Subsequently, Brezhnev-style events funded by the BUDGET resumed:
- award named after the CITY CHAIRMAN;
- tournament named after a local official;
- drones from the on-duty OWNER.
All of this, along with subsequent advertising about "sincere charity," is funded by the BUDGET.
However, in the RANKING of charitable CYNICISM, the people’s deputies are even higher.
Leaders of parliamentary parties and their representatives, with tears in their eyes, narrate how they spend every penny from their salaries and those of their assistants on the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Let me remind you that only during the period from 2022 to 2025, the parties of Zelensky, Poroshenko, Tymoshenko, and a certain period of Vakarchuk-Rudik, up until the ban on OPZZH, received from pensioners, teachers, medical workers, entrepreneurs, and military personnel…
- 2022 – 797 MILLION hryvnias;
- 2023 – 753.4 million hryvnias;
- 2024 – 811.6 million hryvnias;
- 2025 – 890.7 MILLION hryvnias.
During the war, the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, who themselves are not overworked, have significantly increased the salaries of their assistants to 132,630 hryvnias per month. This is despite the fact that the average deputy on the Verkhovna Rada website is recorded as having no more than 2 assistants on a permanent basis. In other words, for the "super complex and stressful work," citizens pay deputies' assistants over 66,000 hryvnias a month.
The "European and patriotic" Kyiv City Council decided to compete with the "charitable deputies from the Verkhovna Rada" and for the FIRST TIME in the history of local self-government and during the WAR decided to pay for the work of 720 assistants to 120 deputies (3 assistants for each deputy) using funds from Kyiv residents. However, the salary of one assistant is less than that of assistants in parliament – 24,000 hryvnias! Kyiv deputies did not forget about themselves either – they allocated 6 million hryvnias each (720 million in total) for so-called deputy activities.
Compare this with the salaries of doctors, teachers, educators, and all humanitarian and social sectors.
Yet, the leading role in cynical budget charity is held by a specialist in issuing postage stamps with the president's obscene words, the millionaire Smelyansky funded by the budget, and Milovanov, a resident of the USA who pays taxes and saves for his pension in America while earning in Ukraine. These creative schemers took pensioners' money collected by "Ukrposhta" and funneled it into Milovanov's fund, which then "charitably" assists the grateful populace.
As for pensioners, that’s a separate story. The authorities lack the political will, under the conditions of the legal regime of martial law, to LIMIT VIP pensions for the "elite of Kuchma-Yanukovych" from 300-200 thousand hryvnias to at least 23 thousand (the maximum pension for other pensioners). I will just remind you of the hundreds of thousands in salaries in supervisory boards and budget corporations and the fantastic bonuses for Kyiv and local officials for their love for Ukraine and the embezzlement of budget funds 24/7. And now, with the scent of elections in the air, they have all rushed to engage in advertising CHARITY.
So if you wish to thank the true CHARITABLE DONORS and PATRONS, prefer pensioners and ordinary citizens who have quietly supported the Armed Forces of Ukraine from their meager salaries and pensions for the past 11 years.
