Nikolai Tomenko discussed the prevailing public sentiment in war-torn Ukraine, referring to it as the "Chukhrain political approach."

Nikolai Tomenko shares his thoughts on this matter on his Facebook page. Below, we present the author's words without any commentary. It is important to note that the expert's opinion may differ from the editorial stance. However, we cannot prohibit anyone from expressing their views.
Николай Томенко обсудил распространенное мнение народа в Украине, находящейся в конфликте: "Чухраинская" политика властей.

Ostap Vysnia once depicted our most vulnerable character traits in his immortal humorous piece "CHUKHRAINTSY".

Let me remind you how he defined the 5 "deeply national traits of the CHUKHRAINTSY":

1. If only I knew? (

(the most characteristic trait, closely linked to the fourth and fifth)

2. I forgot.

3. I was late.

4. It will somehow work out!

(They respond this way when asked: "Is that how you do it?")

5. I knew it all along.

(They say this when they see that something was done poorly. And when asked afterward, "Why did you do it then?", they respond: "If only I knew...". Then they are asked: "So you say you knew?" and the answer is:

“I thought it would somehow work out!)

I recalled this when most prominent politicians and distinguished experts publicly declared after Trump's victory:

"I knew it all along!"

And it gets even more interesting. A certain advisor from the President's office stated that Zelensky would not sign the notorious "Wood Law" because he was LATE to impose a veto?! Let me remind our creative rulers here that the Constitution does not provide the President with the right to FORGET or be LATE, but only defines 2 options for the GUARANTOR of the Constitution:

within 15 days either veto the Law or sign it!

I'm not even mentioning another Chukhraintsian story about the tax increase law, which has been lying somewhere in the President's office since October 15 and has still not been vetoed or signed, while the people pay a new military tax retroactively from October 1.

Previously, they FORGOT about the Urban Development Law, which has been hearing from the authorities for 1.5 years "SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN"!

In the Verkhovna Rada, there are also those cunning Chukhraintsis. It has already been two years since they forgot about the government bill on stripping mandates from nearly 4,000 local council deputies from banned parties like Medvedchuk-Saldo-Shariy?!

And you are all still waiting for salvation from the USA and the EU?

We should replace the CHUKHRAIN political power and the opinion of the people with UKRAINIAN ones.

That would be a VICTORY!
