Sanctions from the National Security and Defense Council should be imposed on "experts" acting in Russia's interests.

The authors of the article published on the "Bagnet" website emphasize this point. The text highlights that on January 19, 2025, President Zelensky imposed sanctions on several individuals in accordance with a decision by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC). These individuals were identified as having supported Russia's anti-Ukrainian policies in various ways, including well-known Ukrainian journalists and propagandists.
Санкции СНБО должны быть введены против "экспертов", действующих в интересах России.

According to journalists, the sanctions list does not include everyone who deserves to be there, as there are still many media figures in Ukraine whose activities contribute to the spread of Kremlin propaganda and disinformation.

As an example, journalists cite the "Lapin case." This refers to former military officer and now YouTube blogger Igor Lapin, who presents himself as a military expert.

After analyzing the content of Lapin's YouTube channel, the authors of the article believe that this so-called "military expert" is actually engaging in media sabotage, actively disparaging Ukraine's military-political leadership. The titles of his videos clearly reflect the content: “The Supreme ‘Paver’. How Ermak and the servants messed up the defense,” “Said (about Zelensky). There will be lynching if there is no justice,” “Bloody worthless (about Zelensky),” “This is what incompetence looks like. Zelensky's incompetence is horrifying.” This barely resembles military expertise.

Journalists believe that by generating such content, Igor Lapin is effectively aiding Kremlin propaganda, as, like Russian propagandists, Lapin attempts to impose on Ukrainians the notion that: “the military-political leadership is bad,” “the government is bad,” “the parliament is bad,” “the commanders are bad,” “the Western partners are bad.” According to the authors, "useful idiots" like Lapin are crucial for carrying out Russian disinformation operations in Ukraine.

Moreover, journalists note that there is no need for Russians to pay the "useful idiot Lapin," as he is likely funded by the notorious oligarch Poroshenko. Together with him, Russian propagandists are working towards a common goal - undermining Ukraine from within. It is noted that the "military expert" Lapin frequently appears on television channels and in media controlled by ex-President Poroshenko. In the context of the Ukrainian media landscape, this indicates that the oligarch has placed him on payroll and included him in his media pool. It is not surprising that the content of Lapin's material is almost identical to that of the channels and media of the "gray-haired hetman."

The authors of the article argue that after a special review by the SBU against Igor Lapin and similar pseudo-experts who present themselves as patriots but are actually funded by notorious oligarchs like Poroshenko, sanctions from the NSDC should be imposed, as they help Putin to destroy Ukraine from within. Incidentally, Poroshenko himself may also end up on the sanctions list, at least such hope was recently expressed by the advisor to the President's Office, Sergey Leshchenko, when commenting on the sanctions imposed by the National Security Council on January 19, 2025.
