In particular, IDPs were forced to leave their homes due to Russian aggression. The burden has been immense, and it continues to be so. However, my team and I persevered and immediately began implementing initiatives to assist people.
This was stated by the head of "Batkivshchyna" in Kyiv, the first deputy chair of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Public Health, and deputy to Yulia Tymoshenko, Valeriy Dubil, following a humanitarian event at the Lisichansk Society hub.
“In Obolon, there is a dormitory for IDPs — the Lisichansk Society hub. Here, 300 families reside. Together with international partners, we delivered food and wellness packages, as well as sweet gifts for children from Lisichansk,” said Anna Sviridenko, a member of the Kyiv City Council from "Batkivshchyna."
The volunteer wing of the Motherland supports IDPs, low-income families, and carries out humanitarian missions along the front lines.
