The Russian dictator Vladimir Putin claimed he would supposedly warn Ukrainians about upcoming strikes from the "Oreshnik." This is a form of psychological pressure.

Military expert Pavel Narozhny shared this insight in a comment to RBK-Ukraine.

In his view, the Kremlin's announcement that the Russian army is "developing mechanisms to notify the civilian population of Ukraine in the event of new ballistic missile strikes" could intensify psychological pressure on Ukrainians.

Particularly, Putin's remarks that in the event of using systems like the "Oreshnik," they will "openly and publicly" advise civilians to evacuate dangerous areas could also have an impact.

"This is designed to make Ukrainians turn to official Russian sources, so they watch and receive doses of lies and propaganda. It's aimed at creating panic. Trust should only be placed in official Ukrainian sources," the expert explained.

Russia launched the "Oreshnik" missile at Ukraine

On November 21, Russia for the first time used an intercontinental ballistic missile to strike Ukraine, reported the air forces. According to media sources, a "Rubezh" missile was fired at Dnipro, which Putin referred to as a test system for the "Oreshnik."

Additionally, Putin stated that in the event of further use of the "Oreshnik," Russia would supposedly warn Ukrainians about it and advise them to seek shelter.
