Favbet Foundation and SPARTABOX are offering free sambo classes for children of military personnel and internally displaced persons.

New classes in combat sambo have opened at SPARTABOX, taking place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 16:30 at the SPARTABOX Martial Arts Academy in Kyiv. Several groups will be formed for children aged 8 to 13 within the section.

Children are taught by experienced coaches Sergey Bobyr and Renat Akhmedkhanov. Sergey is a multiple medalist of world championships and a coach for the national youth team of Ukraine in combat sambo. He specializes in combat sambo, sambo, judo, kickboxing, grappling, pankration, and MMA. Over his more than 19 years of teaching, he has prepared many sports masters in Ukraine across various martial arts. Renat Akhmedkhanov is a freestyle wrestler and a master of sports in Ukraine in freestyle wrestling.

The new section is part of the larger project "Stronger Together" by the Favbet Foundation, aimed at providing Ukrainian children with more opportunities for harmonious development. Last year, as part of the project, the foundation opened several free sections for football, basketball, boxing, and wrestling in Kyiv.
