Colder by 5-7 degrees: forecast for November from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

In November, the average monthly air temperature in Ukraine is expected to range from 1 to 8 degrees Celsius, which is close to the norm in most regions, with slightly higher temperatures than usual in the eastern and southeastern parts of the country.

This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing a forecast published on the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center website.

Thus, November will be 5-7 degrees cooler than October, which has an average temperature of 8-13 degrees.

According to meteorologists' forecasts, the monthly precipitation is expected to be between 34-77 mm (with some areas in the Carpathians reaching 100 mm), which falls within the norm.

"November is the time of pre-winter, starting after the average daily temperature drops below 5 degrees Celsius, primarily in the first decade of November," the report states.

Climatic Characteristics of November

Data from long-term observations indicate that the average monthly air temperature in November is between 0-4 degrees Celsius, with some areas in Transcarpathia and the south reaching 5-9 degrees Celsius.

The absolute minimum air temperature can drop to -15 to -24 degrees Celsius in the northern, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and eastern regions, with some areas in the Carpathians experiencing -25 to -31 degrees Celsius, while the south of Crimea and the Odesa region may see temperatures between -8 and -13 degrees Celsius.

The absolute maximum air temperature can rise to 6-24 degrees Celsius, with some areas in Crimea, Chernivtsi, central, and southern regions, as well as in Transcarpathia, reaching 25-29 degrees Celsius.

The average monthly precipitation is expected to be 35-63 mm, with some mountainous areas experiencing 70-108 mm, and up to 135 mm in the high-altitude regions of the Carpathians, while areas in Prykarpattia and the southeast of the country may see 29-34 mm.
