The Brazilian Air Force laboratory has sent data from the flight recorders of the Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft to Kazakh investigators. The plane crashed on December 25 near the city of Aktau.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing "Radio Free Europe."
Representatives of the laboratory stated that they completed the extraction of data from the recorders in the cockpit of the Embraer aircraft on January 6.
Recall that following the air disaster, Kazakh authorities announced that the recorders were being sent to Brazil, the country where the aircraft was manufactured. This came after Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev claimed that Russia was attempting to "conceal" the cause of the tragedy.
It is worth noting that on December 25, an Embraer 190 aircraft crashed at the airport in the Kazakh city of Aktau, resulting in the death of 38 people.
The aircraft attempted to land three times in Grozny, Chechnya, but was unable to do so. The aircraft was then directed to Kazakhstan.
It should be noted that after the aviation disaster, Russia proposed several versions of the tragedy and denied that the cause of the crash was the operation of Russian air defense. At that time, Aliyev stated that the plane sustained damage as a result of ground fire.
Recently, he reiterated that the responsibility for the crash of the Embraer 190 passenger aircraft lies with Russian representatives. Baku is demanding justice and punishment for those responsible.
