The command of the Ground Forces has initiated an additional investigation into the conflict involving Alexander Dmitriev and the military unit "Asgard." This inquiry is based on the conclusions of the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the Telegram channel of the Ground Forces.
"Impartial measures for the additional investigation have been simultaneously undertaken concerning all participants in the incident. In particular, regarding Dmitriev A.V., a disciplinary proceeding has been opened in accordance with Part 1 of Article 68 of the Law of Ukraine on 'Civil Service,' and a disciplinary commission has been established," the Ground Forces noted.
They clarified that a service investigation has also been initiated to determine the causes and conditions that contributed to the offense, as well as to establish the degree of guilt of the military personnel involved.
Information regarding the results will be published later.
As a reminder, in October, servicemen from the "Asgard" unit claimed that Alexander Dmitriev, nicknamed Tikhokhod, had threatened them.
He presented himself as an advisor to the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Pavlyuk, and issued orders regarding the movement of the unit's personnel.
In response to such rumors, the Ground Forces decided to conduct a thorough investigation of the incident.
