Israel's largest airline has canceled flights to Russia following the plane crash in Kazakhstan.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing "Channel 9 Israel."

It is noted that flights between Tel Aviv and Moscow will not operate for the upcoming week.

"Next week, a reassessment of the situation will be conducted, after which a decision regarding the resumption of flights will be made. Passengers will be notified shortly," the company's press service stated.

Aviation Disaster in Kazakhstan

On the morning of December 25, a passenger plane, Embraer 190, belonging to the airline AZAL, crashed in Kazakhstan. There were 67 people on board. According to the latest information, 38 people died as a result of the crash.

It is known that the plane was en route from Baku to Grozny. According to media reports, in Grozny, where drones had previously been shot down, the plane was targeted, preventing it from landing. Consequently, the Embraer 190 crashed near the city of Aktau.

As reported by Euronews, Azerbaijan confirmed that the cause of the aviation disaster was a Russian missile.
