Concerns are rising in Ukraine over drone threats: alerts are being issued regarding potential dangers.
The Russian army launched kamikaze drones "Shahed" over Ukraine once again on the evening of December 20. An air raid alert has already been declared in several regions.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing the Air Forces and the Air Raid Alert Map.
According to the Air Forces, enemy drones are moving from the northern and eastern regions. A group of Russian strike drones is observed in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
Where "Shaheds" have been spotted
- new groups of UAVs in Sumy region, eastern Kharkiv region, northern Donetsk region, and southeastern Dnipropetrovsk region;
- UAVs in the center of Sumy region, heading west/southwest/south;
- UAVs in the center of Poltava region, heading southwest;
- UAVs in the north and east of Dnipropetrovsk region, heading north;
- UAVs in the east of Kharkiv region and the north of Donetsk region, heading west.
The Air Forces also warned of the threat of an air missile strike in the Sumy region.
Residents of the regions where alerts have been declared are reminded to remain calm and seek shelter in case of danger. It is also important to note that filming the operation of air defense systems is prohibited in Ukraine.

Shelling of Kyiv and the region
This morning, the Russian Federation carried out a missile strike on the capital of Ukraine - Kyiv. Following the air raid alert, several explosions were heard in the capital.
Subsequently, the Kyiv City State Administration provided information and images of the destruction caused by this shelling.
During the morning shelling, the St. Nicholas Church was damaged in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv.
