In Kharkiv, as a result of a Russian airstrike carried out by the enemy on the night of November 9, buildings of a hotel, a hypermarket, and other civilian facilities were damaged. The strike hit one of the city’s main roads.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov.

In the morning, the city mayor provided details about the nighttime Russian airstrike on Kharkiv. According to him, "it hit one of the busiest city roads".

As a result of the Russian shelling, the following were damaged:

  • road surface,
  • trolleybus contact lines,
  • street lighting network.

Furthermore, the mayor of Kharkiv reported that one inactive gas station was destroyed and "another was slightly damaged".

"Several windows were shattered in a nearby hotel. Minor damage was inflicted on the construction hypermarket located at the intersection," the mayor informed.

It is worth noting that local authorities did not report any potential casualties.

How the occupiers attacked Kharkiv

As reported by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Synegubov in his Telegram, the Russian terrorists again used the guided missile "GROM-E1" for shelling the city, which is a hybrid of a missile and an aerial bomb.

The strike on the roadway occurred at 02:52.

"As a result of the shelling, a gas station building, window glazing of buildings, a construction supermarket, a two-story residential building, trolleybus contact lines, and city lighting were damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties," the official stated.

Night shelling of Kharkiv

Earlier, it was reported that last night an explosion was heard in Kharkiv due to an enemy airstrike. Local authorities then warned of possible repeated launches of CABs.

Later, it became known that there was a "hit" from a CAB at the intersection of two districts in the city on the roadway, damaging civilian infrastructure.

Russian strikes with "Grom-E1" on Kharkiv

Let us remind you that the first time Russian occupiers attacked Kharkiv with the hybrid missile "Grom-E1" was in early September. According to open-source information, it is based on the Soviet X-38 missile and can strike up to 120 kilometers.

Additionally, in the spring, this missile was used by Russian terrorists to partially destroy a five-story building in Myrnohrad, Donetsk region.

On the night of October 20, the Russian army again struck Kharkiv with a hybrid missile-bomb. At that time, houses and vehicles were damaged as a result of the shelling.
