A TCK employee faces prison time as police launch an investigation into a shooting incident near Kyiv.

The police have initiated a criminal case regarding the shooting incident in the village of Shchastlyve, located in the Kyiv region. A worker from the territorial recruitment center faces the possibility of imprisonment.

The police have launched a criminal case regarding the shooting in the village of Shchastlyve in the Kyiv region. A worker from the territorial center for recruitment faces a potential prison sentence.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the press service of the main department of the National Police in the Kyiv region.

The law enforcement authorities reminded that today, November 15, a video surfaced online showing a man in military uniform shooting at another man.

According to the police, a notification group was checking men for military registration documents near one of the enterprises. During the document check, a passenger exited the vehicle and ran onto the premises of the enterprise.

"At that moment, a representative of the volunteer formation, who was in the notification group, took the initiative to chase him and fired two shots into the air. As a result of the incident, there are no reported injuries," the law enforcement officials clarified.

Investigators have classified the actions of the volunteer formation representative under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The penalty for this article can lead to up to seven years of imprisonment.

We remind you that the Ministry of Defense has already responded to the shooting near Kyiv. The agency confirmed that a representative of the TCK was the shooter.

Additionally, the Ministry of Defense clarified that if any facts of abuse of power are established or if signs of a criminal offense are identified, the materials will be sent to law enforcement agencies.
