Russians attacked an apartment building in Kryvyi Rih, resulting in several casualties.

Russian invaders attacked Kryvyi Rih with ballistic missiles. As a result of the shelling, people were injured.

This was stated by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, as reported by RBK-Ukraine citing his message on Telegram.

"A five-story building has been damaged. We are clarifying information about the injured," he stated.

In turn, the chairman of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, reported that the Russians struck a high-rise building directly with ballistic missiles.

"An emergency rescue operation is ongoing. We are all on site. Both rescuers and medical personnel, along with utility services," he said.

Vilkul added that as a result of the attack, there are injured individuals who have been evacuated to the hospital.

According to Lysak, apartments from the first to the fifth floors of one of the entrances in the Kryvyi Rih high-rise have been destroyed.

"People may be trapped under the rubble," he noted.

As a result of the shelling, four people were injured.

"One person has been hospitalized. The others received assistance on site," Lysak added.

The Regional Military Administration reported that two children were injured in Kryvyi Rih.

"A 10-year-old girl received assistance on site. An 11-year-old boy has been hospitalized in moderate condition. In total, there are currently six injured," the statement said.

According to Vilkul, eight people have been injured as a result of the attack.

"A humanitarian assistance headquarters is being set up nearby, 100 meters away, I won't provide the address, it's visually noticeable. Assistance includes building materials, utility teams, relocation, and applications for material aid from the city," he added.

Lysak reported that there are already 11 injured in Kryvyi Rih. Three people remain in the hospital.

"Rescuers continue to clear the rubble of the destroyed five-story building. They are searching for people. Volunteer dog handlers have been engaged. Additionally, 35 apartment buildings have damaged windows and roofs. Eleven vehicles have been damaged. An administrative building has also been affected," he added.
