The Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has yet to clarify what exactly Russia will offer North Korea in exchange for its troops participating in a full-scale invasion against Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan in an interview with CBS News, as reported by UNN.

Sullivan points out that the U.S. "does not know for sure" what Russia is providing to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in return for the soldiers he is sending to fight on the battlefield in Ukraine.

Biden's advisor suggested that Kim Jong-un is expecting "something significant in return, possibly in the form of military and technological support from Russia" - potentially for North Korea's nuclear program as well.
