Svetlana Grinchuk announced significant support from Germany.

Germany continues to provide fundamental support to Ukraine, particularly in the areas of environmental protection and "green" recovery.

The council hears words of support for our state and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine from Germany's Minister of the Environment, Steffi Lemke.

She shared with her colleague the real situation in Ukraine and our priorities. We discussed the outcomes of the current UN Climate Summit COP29 and the directions of Germany's support for Ukraine – including climate, industrial pollution, and the nature reserve fund – all of which are among our key Euro-integration reforms. Our ministries have been collaborating closely at the technical level for many years.

Germany, as the initiator of the International Platform for Action on the Green Recovery of Ukraine, steadfastly shares our intentions regarding the principles of "green" recovery. Our priorities remain consistent: the implementation of Point 8 of the Peace Formula by Volodymyr Zelensky, the development of climate policy, and recovery projects.

We also discussed the results of URC 2024 in Berlin and several issues related to preparations for the upcoming Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025, which will take place next year in Italy. I am confident that with the support of our German partners, this will be a crucial step towards realizing our state's environmental ambitions.
