Due to an attack by Russian drones on the night of November 3, damage has been reported in five districts of the Kyiv region. The alarm lasted for nearly 11 hours.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Telegram from the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko.

"The Kyiv region repelled yet another mass attack of enemy drones. The alarm lasted for almost 11 hours. Air defense forces were actively engaged in the region. Enemy targets were destroyed," he stated.

Consequences of the Russian drone attack: damages and fires

Although there were no hits on critical or residential infrastructure and no injuries reported, there is damage in several districts, and fires have broken out.

"Damage has been recorded in five districts due to the debris from downed targets. As of 8:30 AM, four residential apartment buildings in three districts had their windows and balconies blown out," Kravchenko noted.

Additionally, five private homes were damaged, with windows and doors blown out, as well as roofs and facades affected.

"In one of the houses, the roof caught fire. The fire has been extinguished. A fire was also extinguished in an outbuilding. Three vehicles were damaged by debris from downed targets, one of which was completely destroyed," the head of the administration mentioned.

Moreover, in four districts, fires in grass cover and forest litter have been extinguished due to falling debris.

Russian attacks on the Kyiv region

Air defense forces are continuously repelling drone attacks on Kyiv in the capital region. The night of November 3 was no exception. Explosions were heard in the Kyiv region, and air defense was active.

The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that air defense shot down all drones that Russia aimed at Kyiv. This was despite the fact that the drones approached the capital in groups and at very low altitudes.

Additionally, it should be noted that the occupiers have been frequently attacking Kyiv through the Kyiv region lately. For instance, on the night of November 2, a woman was injured in the Kyiv region due to a drone attack. There were also damages reported.
