Ukraine has received three helicopters from Poland. They have been transferred to the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

As reported by RBK-Ukraine, this was announced by the Ukrainian ambassador to Poland, Vasyl Bodnar, on Facebook, as well as by the Polish State Agency for Strategic Reserves.

Two Mi-8 helicopters and one Bell 412-HP were delivered to Ukraine. The helicopters will be utilized for training and classes for future pilots studying at the university.

"In collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the administration and the Military Property Agency, executing the decision of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration, the State Agency for Strategic Reserves has transferred three helicopters from police property to Ukraine as assistance," stated the Polish State Agency for Strategic Reserves.

Bell 412-HP is a multipurpose helicopter designed by the American company Bell Helicopter. The model is an upgraded version of the Bell 412 with enhanced features. The helicopter is equipped with a four-blade rotor and powerful engines, providing high reliability and performance.

It is used for various tasks, including rescue operations, cargo and passenger transport, as well as military purposes. Due to its versatility and durability, the Bell 412-HP is popular in many countries around the world.

Mi-8 is a universal multipurpose helicopter developed by the Mil design bureau. It first took to the skies in 1961 and has since become one of the most widely produced and distributed helicopters globally.

The Mi-8 is used for transporting cargo, passengers, military operations, medical evacuations, and rescue missions. It is known for its reliability, large payload capacity, and ability to operate in challenging climatic conditions.

It is worth noting that earlier this year, Germany announced the supply of six decommissioned Sea King MK41 helicopters to Ukraine. These are search and rescue helicopters that possess limited offensive capabilities, as they are equipped with 12.7 mm caliber machine guns.

Previously, Ukraine received such helicopters from Britain.
