According to Forbes, Humvees fit well into Ukraine's current defense strategy. They can be utilized in urban environments, where tanks and artillery are less effective compared to more compact and maneuverable SUVs.
Additionally, Ukrainian military forces can use Humvees for transporting heavy weaponry or equipping them with machine guns and other arms. In fact, some Ukrainian units have already modified them into mobile maintenance platforms, enabling repairs of armored vehicles in the field.
