Damage amounting to 122 million hryvnias: State Environmental Inspection reports on the most significant violations of the week.

From November 1 to November 7, 2024, the territorial and interregional bodies of the State Environmental Inspectorate of Ukraine conducted 296 control measures and compiled 270 protocols for administrative offenses.

The total amount of imposed fines amounts to 61 thousand UAH.

A total of 69 thousand UAH was collected for the State Budget.

Losses calculated for violations of environmental legislation total 122 million 726 thousand UAH.

The overall amount of claims and lawsuits presented is
122,747,924 UAH.

Losses were recovered voluntarily and through enforcement in the amount of 1 million 784 thousand UAH (taking into account previously filed claims and lawsuits).

Ivano-Frankivsk Region

The Carpathian District Inspectorate calculated losses and the "Kutske Forestry" branch of the DCHP "FORESTS OF UKRAINE" was presented with a claim for 83 million 244 thousand UAH for illegal logging in the territory of the Kosmach Forestry. A report of the crime in accordance with Article 214 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine has been sent to the Kosiv District Police Department of the National Police in Ivano-Frankivsk region, the National Police in Ivano-Frankivsk region, the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, the Territorial Department of the State Bureau of Investigations located in Lviv, and the State Bureau of Investigations.

Rivne Region

The Polissya District Inspectorate calculated losses and presented a claim to the Korets City Council for 1 million 367 thousand UAH for the illegal cutting of 287 trees of species: birch, pine, alder, oak, and aspen on the communal property reserve lands designated for forestry use in the territory of the Korets Territorial Community of the Rivne District of Rivne Region. The materials have been forwarded to the National Police in Rivne region to enter information into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations.

Kyiv City

The Capital District Inspectorate imposed losses for excessive emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere on the RITUAL SERVICE OF THE SPECIALIZED COMMUNAL ENTERPRISE and presented a claim for 122 million 637 thousand 789 UAH.

Kirovohrad Region

The Dnipro District Inspectorate (Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions) calculated losses and presented a claim to the Ustinivka Village Council of Kropyvnytskyi District, Kirovohrad region, for 1 million 221 thousand UAH for the pollution of land resources beyond the village of Novohorivka.

Mykolaiv Region

The Southwestern District Inspectorate conducted an inspection of the protective plantings in the territory of the Veselynivka Village Council in the Voznesensk District of Mykolaiv Region following an electronic appeal from a citizen dated October 24, 2024, submitted using the "EkoThreat" electronic service. During the inspection, it was established that unidentified individuals illegally cut down 72 trees of various species, including 64 common oak trees and 8 white acacia trees, resulting in a total damage of 523 thousand 680 UAH. A report of the crime has been sent to the Voznesensk District Police Department of the National Police in Mykolaiv region.
