In Germany, a car drove into a crowd at a Christmas market, leaving dozens injured.

In the German city of Magdeburg, a car drove into a crowd of people at a Christmas market. As a result of the incident, many were injured.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Bild.

Witnesses stated that the vehicle drove straight into the crowd heading towards the Magdeburg town hall. People fled in panic.

Following this, the Christmas market was closed. Organizers urged local residents to leave the city center.

According to Bild, 20 individuals were injured in the incident. There was also information in the media about fatalities.

The spokesperson for the regional government, Matthias Schuppe, declared that this incident is considered an act of terrorism.

According to the Magdeburg rescue service, between 60 to 80 people were injured in the crowd at the Christmas market.

Accident in Germany

By the way, at the end of April this year, a double-decker bus overturned in Germany, carrying high school students. The bus was on its way to a tour in Britain.

As a result of the accident, the bus driver and 27 students were injured.

There were a total of 67 students on the bus, aged between 14 and 15 years, as well as five teachers.
