A terrorist attack at a fair in Germany has resulted in the deaths of over 10 people, according to BILD.

At a Christmas market in the German city of Magdeburg, a car drove into a crowd of people. More than 10 individuals lost their lives there.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing BILD.

According to the publication, as a result of the car driving into the Christmas market in Magdeburg, at least 11 people have died. Additionally, it was reported that up to 80 people sustained injuries. Emergency medical personnel are present at the scene, providing assistance to the injured.

It is also known that the market was closed following the attack, and tram services have been halted.

The attack was addressed by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

"Reports from Magdeburg suggest the worst. My thoughts are with the victims and their families. We stand with them and the residents of Magdeburg. My gratitude goes to the dedicated rescue services during these distressing hours," he wrote on Twitter.
