Air raid alert declared in Kyiv due to "Shahed" attacks: air defense systems are currently active in the city (updated).

The Russian Federation launched "Shahed" drones over the territory of Ukraine on the evening of Thursday, November 28. An air raid alert has been issued in Kyiv and several regions.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing Air Forces and the Air Raid Alert Map.

According to the Air Forces, enemy drones are moving across Ukrainian territory in various directions.

At 10:41 PM, an alert was declared in Kyiv.

"Kyiv – hostile UAVs are in the vicinity of the city. Stay in shelters!" – reported the Air Forces.

Additionally, a correspondent from RBK-Ukraine reported explosions in Kyiv.

Later, the Kyiv City State Administration clarified that air defense systems are operating against enemy drones.

Residents of regions where the alert has been declared are reminded to remain calm and seek shelter if threatened. Filming air defense operations is prohibited in Ukraine.

Around eleven o'clock in the evening, a series of explosions were heard in the Kyiv area.

Monitoring groups explain this as the operation of air defense systems against enemy kamikaze drones.

At approximately 11:25 PM, the Kyiv City Military Administration announced the cancellation of the threat of enemy air attacks for the capital.

This morning, the Russian Federation launched a large-scale strike on the territory of Ukraine. During this air raid, 188 assets were detected.
