In the Kyiv region, a warhead from the strategic air-to-ground cruise missile X-101 was discovered. This dangerous find, located following a Russian combined attack on the capital yesterday morning, has already been neutralized.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).
The service clarified that this missile warhead was found in a field in the Brovary district.
"Explosives specialists from the Interregional Rapid Response Center of the SES of Ukraine arrived at the scene," the emergency services reported.
Additionally, the SES noted that after specialists examined the find, it was "safely removed and transported to a special site for disposal."
Furthermore, the service released footage of the X-101 cruise missile that was discovered on November 13 in the Kyiv region.
Moreover, the SES urged citizens to refrain from approaching any suspicious objects they may encounter. In such cases, it is essential to immediately report to the number "101."
Recall that on the night of November 13, the Russian army attempted to attack the Ukrainian capital once again. Specifically, the occupiers launched missiles and strike drones towards Kyiv early in the morning. Several missiles and dozens of enemy drones were destroyed by air defense forces and means.
Later, it was reported that there was a wounded individual in the Kyiv region due to the Russian air attack, and a fire broke out at a warehouse.
Additionally, as informed by the Air Force Command, during the strikes on Ukraine, the Russians used 2 S-300 surface-to-air guided missiles, 2 X-101 cruise missiles (launched from strategic bombers Tu-95MS from the Caspian Sea area), 2 ballistic missiles of the type "M"/KN-23, and 90 Shahed strike drones along with other unidentified drones. This does not include guided aerial bombs.
Regarding the missiles specifically, Ukrainian air defenders managed to shoot down 2 X-101 cruise missiles and 2 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles.
