One of Prigozhin's closest associates has been found dead in Russia.
A Russian occupier, Andrey Tkachenko, has been found dead in Russia. He was previously one of the closest associates of the leader of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin. His body was discovered in Lake Segozero in the Russian Republic of Karelia. This information has been reported by Russian media, according to UNN.

As reported by the Russian Telegram channel VChK-OGPU, Tkachenko had been involved in the war in Ukraine from 2022 until October 2024. On October 28, the Wagner member "disappeared under strange circumstances."
He traveled to Karelia to fish with a friend. On the morning of October 28, he rented a boat with his friend and his 8-year-old son and went to Segozero. The boat reportedly capsized during a storm. Tkachenko's son managed to swim to the nearest island, where local residents found him. Later, Tkachenko's friend was also found dead. The body of the war criminal from Wagner was discovered only on November 3.
It is noted that Tkachenko was among those permitted for personal communication with Prigozhin and was tasked with performing "shadow assignments around the world." By the order of the Wagner leader, he was monitoring the family of the aggressor state's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Tkachenko was detained while surveilling Lavrov's son-in-law. He was threatened with charges of treason, which led him to testify against Prigozhin and his head of security, Alexander Maloleteko. The name of the Wagner leader was simply "thrown out" of the case, while his "right-hand man" was held accountable. After that, the latter promised to take revenge on Tkachenko.
