A fire broke out at a resort in Prykarpattia, leading to the evacuation of over 100 people.

A fire broke out at a sanatorium in the resort town of Vorokhta, located in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. More than 100 people were evacuated from the building.

A fire broke out in a sanatorium in the resort town of Vorokhta, Ivano-Frankivsk region. More than 100 people were evacuated from the building.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the State Emergency Service of Ivano-Frankivsk region on Facebook.

Today, January 1, at 08:01, emergency services received a report of a fire in the sanatorium building located in the village of Vorokhta in the Nadvorna district.

Rescue teams found that the roof of the four-story building was on fire. The flames spread over approximately 150 square meters. Emergency service personnel and the sanatorium's administration evacuated 102 individuals, including 10 children and 7 staff members. All evacuees were accommodated in a nearby building.

By 09:43, the firefighters had completely extinguished the fire in the sanatorium. A total of 52 rescuers and 14 units of specialized equipment were deployed at the scene.

As a result of the fire, there were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
