Valery Dubil: Injured soldiers deserve quality meals — The government will allocate an additional 2.1 billion UAH for hospital food.

According to NATO standards, the amount allocated for the nutrition of military personnel undergoing treatment should be at least 200 UAH. We have achieved this. The state will provide quality meals for Ukrainian defenders and defenders in medical institutions.

This was stated by Valeriy Dubil, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Health of the Nation, head of the "Batkivshchyna" party in Kyiv, and deputy to Yulia Tymoshenko.

“For over a year, our team led by Yulia Tymoshenko, which headed the Temporary Investigative Commission on the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Military Personnel, has been working to increase funding. We have secured decent conditions for the nutrition of our fighters, and starting this year, the changes will be noticeable,” he said.

According to Valeriy Dubil, he, along with Yulia Tymoshenko and the team, is in constant contact with medical institutions across the country.

“The humanitarian mission to hospitals and medical facilities has been ongoing since the first month of the full-scale enemy invasion. We visit civilian and military hospitals in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, and other regions. We understand how challenging it is for our selfless and dedicated medical staff, and we see how much effort is being put into restoring the health of our heroes. In this context, nutrition is one of the foundations of recovery. The government’s increase in funding for nutrition is our interim victory on the path to Ukraine's Victory,” he added.
