This was stated by the people's deputy, the deputy chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation, Arseniy Pushkarenko.
“Putin was unable to impose his agenda on the leaders of the Global South. The final declaration signed by the BRICS leaders confirms that the war in Ukraine must end in accordance with the principles of the UN Charter. This is precisely what the Ukrainian Peace Formula demands. This further emphasizes that in our country, no one can dictate the agenda for ending the war. It also proves that the efforts of President Volodymyr Zelensky and the entire team to collaborate with the countries of the Global South are yielding results. Proactive diplomatic engagement with China, India, and Brazil is leading to the Kremlin's inability to consolidate the leaders of superpowers around its utopian ideas. Moreover, these are precisely the countries to which Putin appeals regarding participation in a potential victorious process to end the war,” the parliamentarian emphasized.
“We continue our work on the international front, as neither diplomats nor politicians can overlook the efforts and sacrifices of our Armed Forces. Right now, it is crucial to consolidate peace from Australia to Latin America around the principles of restoring the action of international law in Ukraine, the UN Charter. We need a fair and stable peace,” the people's deputy emphasized.
