From October 25 to 31, 2024, the territorial and interregional bodies of the State Environmental Inspection of Ukraine conducted 334 control activities and compiled 310 protocols on administrative violations.
The total amount of imposed fines is 71 thousand UAH.
A total of 56 thousand UAH has been collected for the state budget.
Losses calculated for violations of environmental protection legislation amount to 2 million 607 thousand UAH.
The overall amount of claims and lawsuits presented is 208,500 UAH.
Losses have been recovered voluntarily and through enforcement in the sum of 1 million 969 thousand 613 UAH (taking into account previously filed claims and lawsuits).

The Dnipro region inspection (Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions) discovered illegal logging in the "Bohdanivske Forestry" of the "Lesy Ukrainy" State Enterprise during activities aimed at identifying and preventing violations of environmental legislation in the territories of Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions, in cooperation with police and forestry staff. This took place beyond the village of Kucherivka in the Subottsyvka rural council of the Kropyvnytskyi district of Kirovohrad region.
The calculated damage from the illegal logging of trees amounts to 771 thousand 656 UAH.
The materials have been sent to the regional prosecutor's office and OP No. 1 (Znamenka city) of the Kropyvnytskyi RUP GUNP in Kirovohrad region for holding the guilty parties accountable.
The inspection in Lviv region calculated losses amounting to 880 thousand 696 UAH due to the illegal logging of 7 red oak trees by unidentified individuals within the Podkaminsky Forestry of the "Zolochiv Forestry and Hunting Economy" of the "Lesy Ukrainy" State Enterprise, located in the territory of the "Northern Podillya" National Park. The materials have been sent to OP No. 1 of the Zolochiv RPP GUNP
in Lviv region for identifying the responsible parties and holding them accountable.
