The results of the "Creative Holidays 2024" contest are in: winners have received their prizes!

In Ukraine, the results of the annual competition "Creative Holidays," which has been held since 2017, have been announced.

The contest was organized by the National Library of Ukraine for Children, the National Section of IBBY, in collaboration with the National Union of Writers of Ukraine and with the support of the My Native Land Foundation established by Mykola Tomenko. The aim is to foster patriotic feelings among children and teenagers—love for their native nature, region, and homeland; instill a love for their native language; develop aesthetic consciousness, creativity, and create conditions for the realization of children's creative abilities and talents.

The National Library of Ukraine for Children has announced the winners of the contest, and a traditional collection has been compiled from the best works.

The winners are: Daria Yatsyuk, 11 years old, Sofia Solonenko, 13 years old, Mykola Vertilenko, 13 years old, Taisia Kovalevska, 12 years old, Margarita Chastakova, 11 years old, Polina Chepizhko, 12 years old, Maria Aksenova, 12 years old, Kristina Kushnir, 15 years old, Mykola Tetscov, 15 years old, Maria Shapoval, 16 years old, Maria Hudyimenko, 14 years old, Nikita Zahorodnyuk, 15 years old, Iryna Yanushak, 15 years old, Ilyana Afimya, 14 years old.

Additionally, the winners received delightful bonuses from the friends and partners of the National Library of Ukraine for Children: Mykola Tomenko, founder of the My Native Land Foundation, and Oleksandr Fedorенко, head of the Organizational Activity Department of the State Eco-Inspection, who brought sweets as gifts for the winners of the "Creative Holidays." This year, the charity organization Youth Initiative Fund "Nadiya" also joined the contest sponsors.
