Specifically, he mentioned that Iran actively utilizes the S-300 systems and sees no need to further purchase the S-400 systems from Russia.
"Our current systems have much better capabilities compared to the S-400," Sheykhyan said.
It is worth noting that despite these statements, the media has reported that Iran sought to acquire advanced military technologies from Russia, including Su-35 fighters and the S-400 air defense system, but Moscow has yet to deliver them.
Recall that officially, Russia completed the supply of S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems to Iran in 2016.
