In the Rivne region, another scheme for draft evaders has been uncovered. The perpetrators face up to nine years in prison.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGSU).
"In the Rivne region, operatives from the internal and own security department of SBGSU uncovered a scheme for the illegal transportation of men across the border," the SBGSU writes.
The "service" cost seven thousand dollars. For this amount, draft evaders were promised passage across the state border. Specifically, the violators were instructed and provided with routes to European Union (EU) countries.

"The perpetrators have been notified of suspicion, and they face 7 to 9 years of imprisonment," adds SBGSU.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, martial law has been in effect in Ukraine. The last extension was on February 5 for another 90 days.
Martial law is implemented in cases of threats to state independence and territorial integrity. In particular, it involves temporary restrictions on the rights and freedoms of citizens.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine explained the role of local authorities in mobilization issues.
