Three accomplices of the Federal Security Service (FSB) have been uncovered in Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, who attempted to destroy relay cabinets of "Ukrzaliznytsia".

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

Kyiv Region

In the Kyiv region, one member of the arsonist group, which the SBU neutralized back in December 2024, was detained. He turned out to be a 21-year-old individual who had "gone underground" and later, on the FSB's orders, set fire to two relay cabinets near the capital.

Dnipropetrovsk Region

Two criminals were apprehended, including a 20-year-old repeat offender who had previously served time for theft and set fire to two relay cabinets in early 2025.

The other individual is a 16-year-old student from a local college, who was caught "in the act" while attempting to ignite a relay cabinet at a railway crossing near Kamensky. One of his next tasks was to derail a freight train carrying equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (SBU) to the front lines.

Consequences

The suspects have been informed of their suspicion under part 2 of Article 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (CCU) - sabotage committed under martial law. They face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

Recall that RBK-Ukraine reported that SBU recently uncovered an FSB agent group that was adjusting missile strikes on military targets in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Lviv regions.
