Missile strike on Mykolaiv: casualties reported due to Russian shelling.

In Mykolaiv, following today's Russian missile strike on January 28, the number of casualties is already known. The victims of the enemy shelling were two women.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim.

The official later clarified the details of the consequences of the Russian attack on Mykolaiv in his Telegram channel.

"Unfortunately, as a result of the Russian missile strike on Mykolaiv, two women have died," the official stated in his publication.

He added that they were employees of a local enterprise.

"Russia is a terrorist state," emphasized the head of the OVA.

Updated: Footage of the shelling's aftermath has emerged

Later, the State Emergency Service (SES) showed footage of the aftermath of the missile attack by the Russian Federation on Mykolaiv this evening.

Emergency responders reported that one of the city's food industry enterprises was hit by enemy fire.

"Two female workers aged 54 and 56 were killed. Rescuers retrieved the bodies from the rubble. The building of the workshop was partially destroyed, and the administrative building of the enterprise was damaged," the SES stated.

Police, emergency, and utility services were also working at the scene.

Missile Strike on Mykolaiv

Earlier today, it was reported that an explosion occurred in Mykolaiv amid threats of an enemy strike using ballistic weapons from the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.

As Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych noted, there was a hit on a private enterprise in Mykolaiv.

At that time, there was no information regarding casualties or fatalities.
