The SpaceX Starship rocket exploded during its flight tests. As a result of the debris falling, airlines had to alter the flight paths of their planes.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Reuters.
The rocket disintegrated just minutes after launch. Starship was carrying a test payload of satellite models for the first time, but without a crew.
Following the explosion, debris, leaving smoke trails, pierced the sky over the capital of Haiti, Port-au-Prince.

"We lost all communication with the vehicle - this essentially tells us that there was an anomaly with the booster," explained SpaceX communications manager Dan Huot.
Due to the rocket explosion, dozens of commercial flights were forced to reroute their planes to avoid potential collisions with debris. According to FlightRadar24, several flights departing from Florida were also delayed.
"Success is uncertain, but entertainment is guaranteed!" responded SpaceX founder Elon Musk.

Starship is a reusable rocket space system being developed by SpaceX for transporting cargo and passengers to Earth orbit, the Moon, Mars, and other celestial bodies in space. The system consists of two stages: the Super Heavy booster and the Starship spacecraft, both designed for reuse.
Not all previous rocket launches have been successful either. For instance, in April 2023, Starship exploded after launch.
