In Kyiv, police are conducting searches at four pharmaceutical factories. Details to follow.

Law enforcement officials are conducting searches at four enterprises in Kyiv that specialize in the production of pharmaceuticals.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine with a link to the press service of the Kyiv police.

According to sources from RBK-Ukraine, the investigation involves the pharmaceutical companies "Darnitsa" and "Farmak".

As clarified by the police, a criminal case has been initiated regarding this matter, within which law enforcement is carrying out searches in the offices of the mentioned institutions.

"More detailed information will follow later," the statement said.

Recall that in early February of this year, law enforcement officials announced that they had uncovered a corruption scheme in the Kyiv City Council. This scheme involved both current and former city council deputies.

According to sources from RBK-Ukraine, the individuals involved included Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Petro Olenych, as well as city council deputies, specifically the head of the land relations commission, Mykhailo Terentyev, and commission member Elena Marchenko. The organizer was former city council deputy Denys Komarnytskyi.

Today it became known that Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Petro Olenych will be dismissed from his position. Previously, the court had imposed a preventive measure on him with the possibility of bail.
