In Zaporizhzhia, following a Russian strike today, December 10, two women were rescued from the rubble. They had been trapped for more than seven hours.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, referencing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).

The emergency responders noted that the two women called the "101" emergency hotline themselves during the search and rescue operations, informing them that they were under the debris of a collapsed building.

"During the conversation, rescuers professionally gathered details to determine their exact location," the SES reported.

Using specialized equipment, the emergency responders freed the victims from the rubble.

"The women had been trapped under the debris for over seven hours, waiting for help. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the rescuers, they were able to be extracted from the trap and handed over to medical personnel. After examination by paramedics, both women were hospitalized," the SES stated.

As a result of the enemy strike on a private clinic in the center of Zaporizhzhia, 4 people were killed. 21 citizens were injured, including one child.

"One injured person died in the hospital. SES units rescued 4 people. Emergency rescue operations are ongoing," the SES added.

Earlier, it was reported that this afternoon, Russian terrorists struck the center of Zaporizhzhia. Local authorities informed that the enemy hit the premises of a private hospital in Zaporizhzhia. The medical facility was destroyed, and nearby buildings were also damaged.

Due to Russian shelling in Zaporizhzhia, there were casualties and many injuries. Emergency rescue operations continue at the site of the "impact."

It was also reported that President Vladimir Zelensky reacted to the Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia. The head of state emphasized that each such attack demonstrates the need to enhance air defense capabilities in Ukraine.
